The growth of a Little Company, wich becomes une of the biggest companies in the business of industrial vehicles and machinery.
At the beggining of the 60th, Mr. Francisco Sánchez Martínez, a young marble machinery seller in his own village (Macael) start realizing that the transport there have very low efficiency an need a lot of people. He start looking form more efficiency transports.
After 13 years of successfull in selling marble machinery, Volvo BM (machinery branch from Volvo AB group) rely on Mr. Francisco Sánchez Martínez to distribute his products, OP machinery.
In the following 4 years, all the aims are overcome, getting the purpose of helping his area and improve the marble business. After that, Volvo proposes him to be the representative of his branch in Almeria.
The first facilities are opened in Almería, a small workshop with space for only one trailer. Orders soon arrive. Almería begins to gestate the horticulture monster that is today. Transport is in full boiling and Francisco’s offspring enter the business at a young age, none of them adults yet, but with great illusion.
Due to the success in selling, the company grows with more people, repairs and sales, and decides to buy and move to the actual location: more than 30.000 m2 in Huércal de almería (only 5 minutes far from the town center). They buy technology in workshop, diagnostic computers, painting cabins, pits, cranes and a great parts store.
On July 13th of 1991, new facilities are inaugurated and the new company is born, which will give to the Holding a new name years later: Almerisan S.A. After that, it becomes Renault V.I. dealer in Almería.
10 years later, with the best results with Renault, Almerisan Group starts a new path, becoming Iveco dealer, a new brand that was born in Spain from the fussion with Pegaso.
In this year, Spain suffers the high crisis that Europe has ever known. Due to the new situation, Almerisan Group gambles on the used vehicles and machinery as the new line of bussiness.
The new facilities in A7 motorway in El Ejido are inaugurated, new services and new After-Sales sevices in this area of Almeria.
Senegal welcomes the new shop and workshop in Dakar. After many years working with customers in Africa, Almerisan starts working in the African market.
We reach all the goals, customers from abroad trust on our products and we sold 13.000 units since Almerisan’s creation. We started with European cooperation to assist all our out of Spain’s costumers.
We extend our offer in tyres. Sell, repair and 24 hour road assistance. We have a stock of more than 600 tyres from the best european and asiatic firms. We also join the Vulco firm.
The group Almerisan and Hitachi Construction Machinery unite to offer their products and provide after-sales coverage in the eastern area of Andalusia (Almería, Granada and Jaén) Thus we expand our roadside assistance services to both industrial vehicles and public works machinery.
Almerisan Parts is born, a new branch dedicated to sell used parts, we increase the facilities to the new business, decontamination area, recycled and storing of vehicles and machinery.
MY GPT is born, location system in real time, it shows the fridge conditions in a trip, as well as consumption of gas oil, abailability, navigation, rest periods… We offer our customer the possibility of knowing on real time where their driver are and then increase the performance.
We extend our transport solutions with Almerisan Rent. Rental vehicles with buy option, respecting the environment efficiently vehicles and machinery, all of them Euro 5 or high. We start with 50 units ready to rent.
Almerisan group and Renders Trailers sign the import and distribution agreement for the Iberian peninsula.
FordTrucks, an automotive giant that is making a leap into industrial vehicles in Spain, enters in Almería and the province. Almerisan group becomes the official dealer with two sales and service points, in Huércal de Almería and Huércal Overa.
