IAA Transportation 2024, held in Hannover, was a key event for the transport industry, with a focus on sustainable solutions, digitalisation and smart mobility. Ford Trucks stood out with the presentation of its new-generation vehicle range, including the upgraded F-MAX and the new F-LINE series, designed for different sectors such as road, construction and freight. These models are characterised by efficiency, comfort and connectivity, with advanced technologies to optimise safety and performance on the road.

One of the most relevant announcements was the introduction of tractor units equipped with cameras instead of mirrors. This camera system not only improves driver visibility by eliminating blind spots, but also contributes to greater driving safety by facilitating complex manoeuvres such as turning or reversing. The cameras project images onto internal screens, providing a real-time view and avoiding many of the traditional accidents associated with the limited visibility offered by conventional rear-view mirrors.

Ford Trucks continues to pursue its vision of more efficient and sustainable transportation, with a strong emphasis on connected technologies and zero-emission vehicles, such as its electric truck, which will be available from 2025.
